Nick Cassavetes has joined The Hangover Part 2 movie cast and according to news coming from the project addition of actor turned director Nick Cassavetes suggests that there will be some changes as well. The role for which he has been nabbed is not a new role and he will be replacing the cameo role done by Liam Neeson as a tattoo artist. Director Todd Phillips wants to reshoot the scenes which features the cameo role in order to provide more background details. However Neeson is unavailable due to shooting of sequel of Clash of the Titans so the director had to settle for the former mentioned actor turned director to do the role. With a last minute reshoot going it remains to be seen how things will turn out.
Nick Cassavetes who will be doing a cameo in The Hangover Part II movie is notable for his directorial ices like romantic drama The Notebook and in addition to that he is also known for directing movies like Alpha Dog and My Sister’s Keeper. The cameo role in this movie had made it to be a buzzing topic when it first had Mel Gibson attached to do it. Though director had been willing to have the star on board it had been said that some objections had arisen from the cast members so he had to move from the troubled star to Liam Neeson. Though the latest addition to cast might not have the similar kind of recognition as former star he sire has potential to offer something exceptional to the movie.
With The Hangover Part II movie going into reshoot with Nick Cassavetes on board it should also be added that the first trailer of upcoming flick had not managed to live up to its expected standards. The first trailer had nothing new offered to fans since it only had the same storyline of the original in a new setting. This far from positive response the trailer had got from audiences might have been another reason that had led director to do a bit of reshaping to make it better and fans will be hoping the effort to be successful.
