Hop movie with its fusion of live action and computer animation in an entertaining way had secured the top spot of box office and Hop movie had also manged to become one of the best openings of the year. Story of Easter bunny had manged to gross a highly impressive amount of $38.1 million and it had been mostly family audiences who had made it to theaters to see this. With Easter coming up in a three weeks this flick just might hold on till then. Following this had been another new opening science fiction action thriller Source Code movie which had grossed an amount of $15.1 million. It had followed an Army officer who investigates a trains bomb by resuming the identity of one of the passengers.
Adorned with vocal talents and pieces of acting contributed by a fine cast it comes as no surprise that Hop movie had managed to nab the top place. In third place of box office list had been Insidious movie which had earned an amount of $13.5 million as it had debuted last week. Haunted house scenario had been dealt in its story and rich with mystery suspense horror and thriller elements a pulsating flick it had been. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules movie which had nabbed the top spot last week seemed to have had to take few steps down for last weekend it had been in the fourth place. But not without making a fine amount of $10.2 million.
Chances are high that Hop movie might go on to fair well in coming weeks as well by attracting attention of movie going crowds. As for the fifth place of box office place it had been secured by action and thriller packed flick Limitless movie which had manged to tuck an amount of $9.4 million under its belt and it had been three weeks since it had debuted. The Lincoln Lawyer movie the theatrical adaptation to popular novel had been seen in the sixth place by making an amount of $7.1 million in last weekend only since it had opened three weeks back.
