Hop movie had manged to retain the top place of box office list this week as well and with the successful second straight weekend Hop movie seems to be heading to fare well in future as well. With that British actor Russell Brand has also manged to dominate the box office as well for the animated comedy featuring his voice had manged to gross an impressive amount of $21.7 million in its second week. Following it closely in the second place had been another Russell Brand starter which had been Arthur movie. This new live action comedy flick which had managed to secure an impressive amount of $12.6 million. With his new opening fairing well by receiving much attention the former mentioned star seems to be getting even more popular among viewers.
As the Hop movie had manged to secure the first place this week as well other movies including new openings had to be content with the latter places. So in third place had been another new opening which had been Hanna movie. The action adventure and thriller packed flick had manged to make an amount of $12.3 million. The main focus of this flick had been a teenage girl who is raised to become the perfect assassin. Running in fourth place had been biographical drama Soul Surfer movie and the awe inspiring theatrical adaptation to a true story had manged to earn $11.1 million in its first week.
Following Hop movie and managing to secure the fourth place had been the haunted house horror and thriller flick Insidious movie. Last week it had manged to secure the third place but this week it had to take a one step down. However it had manged to make an amount of $9,520,376 which sounds good enough. It had been disappointing to see star studded fantasy adventure flick Your Highness movie  ending at the sixth place of box office list and its grossing of $9,520,376 is far from impressive. Though the high expected motion picture seemed to have had a bad start it is possible that it will pick up in coming weeks and go on to fair well in future.
