Uncharted movie the film adaptation to video game now has a director in Neil Burger so with this new addition project of Uncharted movie might go ahead sooner than later. The director might be best know for his recent cinematic venture Limitless and with is success backing him he has found himself an interesting new project. Before him David O. Russell had been on board the project and he walked out sometime back. The director with Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer had been busy working on the script but going along with recent developments the project might have to bid farewell to that script.
Reason is Neil Burger attached to Uncharted movie is set to write a new script which is most likely to go ahead with development without the family dimension that former director had in his mind. With a new director on board another matter which needs to be found out is what of the leading star. It was only when Russel had been attached to the project that Mark Wahlberg too had been linked to it so now with former gone there is hardly any reason for the project to stick to latter. Moreover fans of the video were not quite pleased about the the first casting call so some of them will feel relieved. It is possible that new director might bring Bradley Cooper in for the project having worked with the actor in Limitless. This is only an idea and it is yet to be confirmed.
When looking at previous works of Neil Burger it can be said that he has what it takes to do justice to Uncharted movie. The protagonist of the story will be treasure hunter Nate Drake who has well known explorer Sir Francis Drake for an ancestor. Nate believes that he has found a way to get to El Dorado the mythical South American golden city. The treasure hunt gets more complicated when some rival hunters also begins ti take interest in this. So the story of movie unravels with action, thriller and adventure that take place in this scenario.
