Game Theory movie which is set up at Summit Entertainment has found a director in Niels Arden Oplev so the new project titled Game Theory movie has a talented and promising director whose involvement in movie makes it all the more interesting. Though nothing much has been revealed on the project the fact that a director has been attached makes it clear that it will only be a matter of time before more details are revealed. This Swedish born movie maker is best known as the movie maker who brought original Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. With the critical and commercial success of the movie the director who who had been relatively unknown had found himself thrust into spotlight.
Game Theory movie director Niels Arden Oplev before having his breakthrough with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo had been known for his efforts in small screen and wide screen. His debut directorial venture had been short feature titled Nøgen and after that he had gone ahead with his first feature length movie which had been Portland. He then did television documentary Headbang i Hovedlandet. With that he had started an impressive career working in small screen productions. So it seems that many experiences he had while working in television had helped him to come up with an acclaimed motion picture. Since all his ventures had been productions released in home county he had been looking forward to break into Hollywood with a new projects so he seems to have nabbed the chance.
Niels Arden Oplev before getting attached to Game Theory movie had two new movie productions in works but none of them seems to be moving forward. He has finished working on pilot of television series The Rememberer. Previously he had been attached to The Keep and The Last Photograph. The latter mentioned projects is still in the go but nothing has been confirmed. As for the new project of the director it will have protagonists in a college professor and game theorist whose lives get caught up in an international crisis.
